On arrival at Beijing airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Spend the day at leisure.

In the evening you will be picked from your hotel to experience an exciting acrobatic show at the Beijing Tiandi Theatre. The acrobatic troupe will showcase classic acrobatic programs with music, dance and opera.

Your exploration of Beijing starts from Beijing City Planning Museum with a 3D film to help you understand this thousand year old ancient capital, from its history to it’s development. Then visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. From Tiananmen Square enter the Forbidden City, the abiding symbol of imperial China. Truly one of the great achievements of civilization, its construction employed hundreds of thousands of workers between 1406 and 1420. Marvel at its expansive architecture, magnificent imperial gardens, and many museums of Chinese antiquities and treasures. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Peking Duck Banquet at Qianmen 1416 Duck Restaurant.

Today you will experience the splendor of the Great Wall, the pride of China and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is an amazing man made structure built over 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, one of the finest creations of the Ming Dynasty. Built in the 15th century the stunning architecture of the Temple represents the most advanced principles of mechanics and geometry available at the time. Afterwards, there is an optional Hutong Tour. Explore Beijing’s picturesque Houhai district, where many old courtyard homes are preserved and the narrow hutong alley’s border tree-lined lakes north of the Forbidden City. You can tour the district by pedicab for a closer and more engaging perspective on traditional Chinese life.

In the morning, you will proceed for a tour to the Summer Palace on a boat ride on the Kunming Lake (if weather permits) and a trip to the largest and best preserved of all imperial palace gardens there. Marvel with fascination at the Marble Boat and the ornately painted Long Corridor. In the afternoon, we will visit the Olympic Village to marvel at the new stadiums. Herzog & De Meuron designed the National Stadium, referred to as the “Bird’s Nest” and the firm PTW designed the National Swimming Center, better known as the “Water Cube”.
